Kiddie Garden Follows the National Approved Learning Frameworks

At Kiddie Garden Day Care & Preschool, we believe it is important for all children to be provided with a childcare learning program based on observations and each child’s needs and interests.

The Early Years Learning Framework for Australia aims to support early childhood educators in extending and enriching children’s learning from birth to five years and through the transition to school.

It emphasises play-based learning and the intentional role of educators and children in fostering learning. This framework is designed to ensure that children are supported, celebrated, and connected to their community, promoting confident, creative individuals and lifelong learners.

The Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) centers on the principles of Belonging, Being, and Becoming, which shape children’s identities and understandings of the world.

It sets the highest expectations for children’s learning, development, and wellbeing. The framework comprises interdependent elements: Vision, Principles, Practices, and Learning Outcomes.

It highlights the importance of play-based learning and the intentional role educators play in fostering learning. The framework emphasises inclusive education, cultural responsiveness, and collaborative partnerships among educators, children, families, and communities.
