    Educators Who Nurture With Heart

Under the leadership of our director and qualified early childhood teacher Sue, every educator at Kiddie Garden holds appropriate qualifications in early childhood education. Our centre also  meets National Quality Standard (NQS) requirements. But credentials alone don’t create the environment you’ll find here.

Our educators genuinely care. They love the children like their own, settling anxious toddlers with patience, supporting children with developmental delays with expertise, and celebrating every milestone with joy.

Kiddie Garden is not a child care centre where educators simply supervise. Our team is kind, understanding, and invested in each child’s wellbeing. They handle conflicts with empathy, support children through difficult transitions, and work closely with families to address concerns and questions. When your child walks through our door, they’re welcomed by staff who are genuinely happy to see them.

Every Child Thrives Here, Including Yours

Perhaps your child struggled at a previous daycare. Or maybe this is your first time enrolling and you’re anxious about how they’ll settle.

Whatever your situation, you’re not alone. Many families come to us after difficult experiences elsewhere, and within weeks (sometimes even days) they see their child transform. Children who were scared and resistant become happy and safe. Toddlers who struggled to settle begin running through our door with excitement. Children make remarkable progress in both learning and behaviour.

This happens because our educators are skilled at meeting children exactly where they are. They work with you as partners, listening to your concerns, understanding your child’s needs, and creating an environment where every child feels valued and capable. This is why families describe Kiddie Garden as a turning point – a childcare centre that offers real support, not just a high rating.

Learning That Transforms the Whole Child

We follow Reggio Emilia’s project-based approach alongside EYLF outcomes, but what matters most is what you’ll see in your child over time.

Within months at Kiddie Garden, parents notice remarkable transformations. Children develop strong foundations in literacy and numeracy. They become more confident, outgoing, and considerate. Their enthusiasm for learning blossoms. Their ability to express themselves, solve problems, and think critically grows noticeably.

This holistic approach of focusing on academics alongside character development means children don’t just learn their letters and numbers. They develop kindness, cooperation, and empathy. They learn to handle challenges, work with others, and believe in their own capabilities.

By the time they transition to kindergarten, our preschool children are ready. Not just academically, but emotionally and socially. They’re confident learners who love school.

How Children Grow and Flourish at our Parramatta Childcare Centre

Our curriculum combines Australia’s Early Years Learning Framework with Reggio Emilia’s child-led, project-based philosophy. This means:

Children Learn Through Discovery: We follow children’s interests and questions, turning curiosity into deep learning experiences that span weeks or months.

The Environment as Teacher: Our learning spaces are thoughtfully designed with resources and setups that invite exploration, creativity, and discovery.

Documentation Makes Learning Visible: We document children’s learning journeys, helping you see the thinking, theories, and skills developing behind the play.

Relationships Build Learning: Strong connections between educators, children, and families create the foundation for meaningful learning.

This approach ensures your child develops the five EYLF learning outcomes – identity, community, wellbeing, learning, and communication – while building real-world skills through authentic experiences.
